At the National, the 18 hole Championship Course is 6232 meters, par 72 and designed by Ryder Cup Player David Feherty, has played host to the PGA European Turkish Seniors Open in 1996 and 1997. David Feherty has incorporated aspects of the best courses he has competed on in the world, and has ensured that no two holes are similar. Carved through a forest of eucalyptus and pine trees with the back-drop of the snow capped Taurus mountains and an abundance of natural lakes, the National will test players of all abilities.
The National thanks to David Jones, Senior Player, whom leading his consultancy since the beginning of the National to improve the conditions and design of the course.
The National was opened in late 1994, but it has taken only six years to win international recognition in the year 2000 rankings of UK’s Golf World magazine as the number 42 and in the year 2001 rankings’ as the number 39 golf course in mainland Europe, and also in Germany’s Die Welt magazine as the number 9 golf course on the European Mediterranean coasts in 2000.

| The ‘Turkish golf tourism’ is continuing its dazzling rise. In March 2007, just as in the first two months of the year, there was a considerable increase in the amount of plays. This month, in the courses of the unofficial Turkish golf center, Belek, a total of 46654 rounds were played. The number of the games played during the first third of the year is 85732, which means 30 percents increase compared to 2006. |

| At the end of play-off James Gill received the cup and Hamza Sayın from Turkey receıved the silver medal in Antalya Golf Club . 6th Turkısh Open took place in Antalya Golf Club during 6 – 9 September . During the final after a big struggle and excitement James Gill from New Zealand is the winner of the tournament . At the beginning of the fourth day Hamza Sayın from Turkey was in the third place .After 70 strokes in the last day ,he made 283 strokes in total and received a very succesfull degree. James Gill also made in total 283 strokes ,receiving 71 strokes the last day . As the result of equality in the strokes they had play-off in the 18th hole. After the second stroke resulting in the bunker ,James Gill made birdie as the result of an incredible stroke.Third stroke of Hamza Sayın was unfortunately out of the hole. Rasmus Hjelm Nielsen from Denmark won the third place with 284 strokes Gencer Özcan from Turkısh Natıonal Team had the fourth place. The prize ceremony took place at Antalya Golf Club’s garden with 86 golf players taking part from 23 countries. The winners of the tournament received their prizes from Turkish Golf Federation president Ahmet Ağaoğlu .Mr.Ağaoğlu thanking to all the participants from all over the world, and said ‘ In spite of the short history of this tournament, it became one of the most important open tournaments in Europe.In the coming years our aim is to have 50 countries from all over the world participating in Turkısh Open .’ Mr.also expressed his gratitudes to Antalya Golf Club for their excellent hospitallity. |

| The first big tournament of 2007 - Turkish National Masters Tournament was won by Hamza Sayın. Turkish National Masters Tournament which is one of the traditional tournaments of Turkish Golf Federation, accommodated 55 golfers’ 15 of which women. |
